Hello, I’m Sobiya
I’m the first Hijab wearing European Black Belt Kickboxer, Teacher turned Leadership & Confidence Coach, Keynote Speaker, and Diversity & Inclusion Consultant.
For years I competed and immersed myself in spaces where I was often the “only one”-the only woman of colour, the only visibly Muslim female, the only voice representing change.
A European-level kickboxer turned Leadership and Confidence Coach, keynote speaker, and Diversity & Inclusion consultant.
For years I competed in spaces where I was often the only woman wearing a hijab.
That experience taught me resilience, courage, and the importance of owning your identity and who you truly are.
But like many leaders, I also faced moments of self-doubt and imposter syndrome-questioning whether I truly belonged in the spaces I had worked so hard to enter.
Through my experiences in sport, leadership, education, and personal development, I developed a powerful approach to overcoming those internal barriers. I realised my difference was my superpower and the importance of belonging lay in connecting on shared values. Not performative metrics.
Today, I use proven strategies and tools to help leaders transform self-doubt into confidence, speak with impact, and lead with clarity and purpose.
